A while ago, when was travelling around south america I had the please of visit Santiago de Chile, a lovely crity on the West of Chile, I found a publication from the region a publication on a local Newspaper called El Mercurio, in case you don't remember Mercurio was the Greek messenger of the goods, the supplier of news god of trade, thieves and travel. How to expect a kid knows who's this mythology character? at that given time because of that an article on the paper came to my attention.
The so called article talked about the things we do when we don't do HAVE anything to do, it was called: "Que hace uno cuando no Ama" (What Someone does when doesn't Loves) a strong title for someone who didn't have over thought on his head because I was alone in a city where I didn't know anything at all... anyhow, I didnt gave any importance to the paper but i kept a copy.
All by myself (with no one around me) with only a couple bills and a lot of free time ahead I remember walking to most of the places in the city visited, museums, city markets, eat on the street, "cafes con piernas" also visit national iconic spots like la casa de Moneda or the Fortress in the Mount over the Gobernador O'higgings Street... I remember trying to kept my full attention what i was doing, but also for some reason the publication keep ringing on my head. At the end, I brought a copy of the paper but between all the house movings (10 in total) and different cities during these changes just simply got lost between all the things i whish i still have until now with me.

It's sad because I recall pieces of the paper sometimes investing time thinking about what was that paper talking about... I remember the publication talked about that we do travel and explore new places because we keep searching for something that help us define ourselves or the situation on which we are living into, which in occasions seems to have sense.
I remember also talked about how one shops, buys, acquire new things because looks like we want to fulfill a hole in our life with material things, i remember too that said we go to classes, read things, go to courses to learn new things which feeds our mind with the only goal of distract our attention on the time we were doing anything better with... investing if you want to call it that way, talked about how we begin to "believe" in things or at least on begging to make ourselves questions with deep meaning we didn't believe before like religion and things which helps to set the the spirit free.

Cuando uno no ama... compra
Cuando uno no ama... viaja
Cuando uno no ama... estudia
Cuando uno no ama... trabaja
Cuando uno no ama... recuerda
Pero sobre todo, cuando uno no ama... uno busca que amar.
