I Never expected to reach into a city with the amount of live history as when i step the Istanbul, a city which in fact... Never forgets. The city of the 6 "Gold" towers, domes made of silver, statues of bronze for every god to be praised in the ancient world, streets paved on bricks as old as the actual mankind, palaces made of crystal, and antics on the building calling for pray each time a person its required to pray.

The fact which makes me resemble what makes a city the "capital of the world", qualifying name given by Napoleon Bonaparte, the ultimate mesh of cultural diversity, the point of junction were the Occident collides with the Orient, a city trapped between 2 continents (in fact the only city in the world spread among two continents) and nationalities of people from all over the world.
This city does not only have amazing old streets, which in moments of the history were walked by Semi-gods, sultans, and emperors but holds some of the cultural remarkable items which our contemporary history like a cloak used by Mohammed (The prophet himself), Abraham, Noah, John the Baptist, among others. Armors used by emperors and warriors, some of the items showed to public makes the sixtine chapel look like a art gallery run by kindergarten kids, the collections of art are amazing without telling anything about the recints in where the art is (The Harem, The Topkaki Palace, The Palace of Dolmabahce, Hagia Sophia Mosque, etc.)
In some times you can perceive the smell of the Saleph or the cooked chestnut toasted into little carts selling rounded by people or establishments selling pomegranate juice next by one of the most impresive building i've ever seen in my whole life, Hagia Sophia Mosque. Enjoy a Shisha flavored as a "bob marley" or a "Tony Montana", have a Eggplant Kebab with a slice of shawarma meat or in the evening a Efes for the thirst of the day after walking from the Train using the Jetones to ride on it in order to cross the city.

In general, 5 days weren't enough to visit a city as big as Istanbul, 5 days of walking of sights, of photos, of reading, of understanding the amount of differences which makes us special (Cultural speaking) and 5 days of also trying to understand whats the purpose of the new endeavors we will be taking for the next couple of years.
The Elephant city made me remind something from me which (i didn't forget, i just didnt use it for a long time) was one of the things which forged part of my character, I Like to discover and re-discover new things that makes me feel fresh and new, that's a feeling i love and i forgot i loved. :D
